The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The course has lots of elevation changes and sloping fairways and greens.
Although a shorter course by today’s standards it is very demanding off the tee. Leave your driver in the bag. Sloping fairways and many elevation changes make accuracy the goal. Small undulating greens makes approach shots demanding.
Oh, and the views of Tucson and Sonora Desert flora make it memorable.
A Bit Of History
Skyline Country Club was established in 1961. The facility is in Skyline Country Club Estates. One of the first premier communities in the Foothills of Tucson.
When founded, most Skyline members lived in “Estates”. That is not the case today.
Although Skyline is an equity membership, it is subsidized by the Skyline Country Club Estates Homeowners. It had defaulted on its debt of $3.5 million in early 2013.
In December 2013, homeowners approved the proposal to raise homeowners association annual fees for the next 25 years and to use the revenue to hire Arnold Palmer Golf Management.
In exchange for the higher fees, homeowners who aren’t country club members get access to some of the country club’s perks, like monthly dinners and — after two years — one day a month of free tennis. After three years, residents get one free round of golf each month.
The Skyline Country Club also offers members many activities including tennis, swimming, fitness center and a great dining experience.
The fitness center sits on the side of a mountain. Equipment is place to provide 180 degree views of the Tucson Valley. Fitness equipment includes treadmills, bikes and elliptical trainers. Weight training stations and free weights are available.
Social activities abound at the Skyline Country Club. Special interest clubs provide great social interaction and an opportunity to share common interests. Popular activities include hiking, cards, photography and a host of others
There are 471 individual properties in Skyline Country Club. Properties include single family residences, town homes, casitas. Skyline strives to create an balance between residential housing and the delicate desert landscape they are in.

Thinking About Selling Your Home In Skyline Country Club Estate?
Selling a home requires more than listing it in the Tucson MLS system. It’s about marketing. Marketing through multiple online channels.
To no one’s surprise, 80% of home buyers start their search on the internet. Homes must be visible on multiple internet channels. The more visible a home is, the faster it will sell.
And the photos on the mls make a difference. You can spend lots of money on home staging. But if that effort isn’t correctly shown in the MLS photos, you are not getting the full benefit.
We use multiple online marketing channels to showcase your home. We will build a stand-alone website built to show your home. Our marketing program targets key cities in the U. S. based on the season.
For luxury listings, our drone service provides video of your home and neighborhood. This video along with professional photos helps the online buyer see and feel your home. Their “new” home.
