Both the Average and Median Sales Prices for a single family home increased year over year, by 6.9% and 2.7% respectively. Active Listings continue at historic lows with 2,111 single family homes on the market at the end of December 2022. That translates to a 2.4-month supply. | Water: Water citrus deeply every three weeks. Adjust watering schedule to accommodate spring winds.
Fertilize: Fertilize citrus, roses, grapes, lawns, and deciduous (trees or shrubs that lose their leaves seasonally) trees/plants. Citrus needs fertilizer specially formulated with an ample source of nitrogen. Roses need slow release fertilizer specially formulated with nitrogen and phosphorous. Fertilize the non-native plants just as they begin to grow. Yes, mid-February/March is our springtime! Prune: Once new shoots emerge on frost damaged plants (lantana & bougainvillea) cut away dead branches. Also cut back ornamental grasses. Wait until April to cut back frost damaged citrus. Harvest: Continue to harvest your citrus. Most citrus should be picked by the beginning of March except valencia oranges and grapefruit as they continue to sweeten for several months. |
