Tucson Real Estate Newsletter July 2020 – 4th Avenue Tucson

A popular spot and walking distance from the University of Arizona campus is 4th Avenue (south of University Blvd.).

Known for it’s semi-annual 4th Avenue Street Fair, this place is hopping with restaurants, retail, and bars.

One of our favorite restaurants for dessert is The B Line. This street is loaded with locally owned businesses so please support them!

Be advised, some of the bars are closed at this time due to COVID-19.

If you have a favorite, call ahead to be sure they are open and what restrictions may be imposed.

July 2020 – Gardening Tips for August

  • Adjust the drip cycle with the monsoons.
  • Watch for wilting leaves that don’t recover overnight; adjust watering to eliminate stress. Remember to water plants in the morning.
  • This time of year even the native plants need supplemental water if it’s not raining.
  • Vegetables for the cooler season (peas, beets, squash, cucumbers).
  • Fertilize: Shrubs and citrus trees before the end of August.
